Fine, elegant, complex, fruity (apricot, honey, quince…). Mellow and balanced attack. Flowing and round in the mouth.
The aromas of candied fruit are well marked with peach, quince, plum, and apricot. A harmonious aftertaste leaves a fruity note.

Our pineau can be served at different temperatures, according to its consumption:
5-8° as an aperitive.
10-12° with Fois Gras and melon.
15-17° with Blue Cheese and pineapple tart.

Topaz with flashes of gold.
A full-bodied nose of aromatic richness, hints of liquorice and touches of vanilla and cedarwood.
Good length on the palate with a very smooth, layered finish.
TASTING:
To be enjoyed neat at 20°C to 25°C (70° to 80°F), start with the nose to discover all the power, finesse and subtlety of the first Cognac growth, before taking a comfortable sip to be rolled slowly around the palate before swallowing.

Visual: orange colour, copper highlights. The 1st nose is powerful revealing a good aromatic complexity with a dominant fruity (prune, candied orange, nuts) and hints of vanilla. The 2nd nose reveals notes of a cigar box with a slight rancio. On the palate, the attack is sweet with aromas confirming those revealed on the nose. Round, long and delicate finish.
Eyes: Bright, golden, golden yellow glint.
Nose: Slightly oaky, with a lot of finesse, pastry, and apple pie.
Mouth: Straight attack, very round in the middle of the mouth, underpinned by nice acidity, slightly peppery on the finale. Very quaffable, stewed aromas of baked apple
Calvados XO has aged 6 years in oak barrels, with 25% of new oak (XO = eXtra Old).
A harmonious blend of young calvados and a light cream base, Calvados Cream liqueur is a soft and smooth liqueur with aromas of caramel, apple, and vanilla.
Eye: Milky coffee in colour.
Nose: Gentle, sweet, caramel, and apples.
Mouth: Smooth and gentle. The attack is of sweet caramel and apples. Finishes on vanilla.
The carafes are then filled with young Calvados at 70%, which allows the apples to settle down and stabilize. Several weeks later, they are emptied and refilled with Calvados. The apples then macerate gently in the Calvados.
Eye: The end result of Captive Apple is both visually attractive and very agreeable to taste. The Colour is amber-yellow. Clear and brilliant.
Nose: Gentle attack, great aromatic intensity. Green Apple, geranium, minty.
Mouth: Consistent, slightly bitter, the first taste is all green apples.
Eye: Golden mahogany. Clear and brilliant, bright meniscus, fine legs.
Nose: Intense, complex, with hints of roasted coffee, confit apples and vanilla. The aromas of apples develop gradually to become dominant.
Mouth: Sweet, slight bitterness, intense and round, well built, and fruity. Good concentration.
Eye: Golden yellow, slightly coppery.
Nose: Pleasant, fine with good complexity, lightly wooded. Fruit aromas of apple and banana. Floral hints of rose and jasmine. Develops in complexity when smelling again after swirling.
Mouth: Sweet attack, excellently balanced. Fruity hints of ripe apples. Hints of wood.
