Description

A clear amber colour with lovely golden tints. The powerful, woody bouquet releases notes of cocoa, prune and grilled almonds. Complex, powerful and nicely structured on the palate with flavours of walnut skin, prune, caramelised orange and vanilla. Serve with fried foie gras or chocolate desserts.

Microwave Oven Invented (1945) – Percy Spencer, an engineer at Raytheon, accidentally discovered microwave heating when a radar magnetron melted a candy bar in his pocket, leading to the invention of the microwave oven.
