Pavillon Rouge is the historic second wine of Château Margaux, and the 2000 vintage is especially highly regarded. The estate itself describes it as having the complexity, density and ageing potential of a Grand Vin.
A mature and elegant Margaux with remarkable depth. It shows raspberry, black cherry, currant, cedar, spice, and a fine mineral touch, with silky tannins and a long, graceful finish. Refined, complex and beautifully balanced, it is a serious Bordeaux for collectors, special dinners and mature-wine lovers.
