Perfect Pour
A half-bottle, three glasses of three shapes. Press STOP when each glass holds its fair share: the tulip takes what is left.
One pour a day counts. The closer the three shares, the better the tier, and the evenest table of the week takes home a bottle from our cellar.
Each glass has its own shape, so a level cannot be copied from one to the next, and each pour runs at its own pace, so the clock is no guide. Trust your eye: a third of the bottle in each.
Practice is free and never counted. Once the first glass pours, today’s pour is spent, even if you leave the page.
On a keyboard, Space stops each glass.
The Bottle
Share a half-bottle
Thirty-seven and a half centilitres, poured into a flute, a coupe and a tulip. Stop the first two: tap, click or press Space. The tulip takes the rest.
The Measure
Read the shapes, not the clock
Each pour runs at its own pace, so time is no guide. The score is the gap, in millilitres, between your fullest and your emptiest glass. The fair share is 125 ml each.
The Prize
One winner each week
The steadiest pour of the week takes home the Sommelier’s Eye prize — one winner, every week.
