Description
The Château Beychevelle Saint-Julien 2014 is a Fourth classified growth. It already reveals power and a beautiful structure that turns into creamy tannins. On the palate, one discovers roundness, persistence and enjoyable characteristics – due to the fine grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon – which foreshadow a perfectly balanced wine. This is a promising 2014 Beychevelle, one among the best.
James Suckling 94/100
A very classical St. Julien that’s got good concentration and real elegance, too. Great black fruits on the nose with subtle oak, and the richness and dry tannins are balanced out beautifully. You could drink it now, but this will age beautifully.
