Gérard Bertrand Banyuls Traditionnel AOP
Banyuls is one of the great sweet-wine traditions of southern France, with Grenache thriving on the dramatic schist slopes beside the Mediterranean. Rich, warming and full of character, it offers a distinctive alternative to more familiar Port-style dessert wines.
A rich, expressive natural sweet wine with generous aromas of ripe red and dark fruit. Full and beautifully balanced on the palate, it reveals blackcurrant and jammy blackberry, complemented by delicate woody notes. Sweet and intense yet structured, with enough freshness to keep the wine elegant and inviting.
Pair with dark chocolate desserts, fruit-based desserts, Catalan pastries, blue cheeses, or enjoy it on its own as an after-dinner wine.
