Domaine Joseph Roty “Très Vieilles Vignes” Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru AOC 2018
The Domaine Joseph Roty Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru “Très Vieilles Vignes” 2018 is a powerful and deeply complex Grand Cru Burgundy Pinot Noir from one of the most prestigious vineyards of Gevrey-Chambertin. Produced from extremely old vines, the wine reveals intense aromas of black cherry, raspberry and cassis layered with notes of violet, spice, forest floor and subtle earthy depth. On the palate it is rich, structured and beautifully balanced, showing concentrated dark fruit, refined tannins and remarkable length. The depth and elegance of this Grand Cru make it a superb partner for roasted duck, game dishes, lamb or mushroom-based cuisine.
