Domaine de Courcel “Grand Clos des Épenots” Pommard Premier Cru AOP 2008
Grand Clos des Épenots is a historic monopole vineyard exclusively owned by Domaine de Courcel. The 2008 vintage now shows developed Burgundy complexity with classic structure and longevity, offering collectors a mature expression from one of Pommard’s benchmark Premier Cru sites.
Garnet with brick reflections, showing mature evolution. The nose is complex and tertiary, revealing dried cherry, red currant and plum layered with leather, forest floor, tobacco and subtle spice. On the palate it is structured yet harmonious, with resolved tannins, fresh acidity and a long, earthy, savoury finish typical of mature Pommard.
