The nose is expressive and layered. It opens with blackcurrant, red berries and violet, followed by cedar, graphite and gentle spice. On the palate, the wine is firm yet polished. The tannins are fine and structured, supporting a core of fresh fruit and subtle mineral notes. The finish is long, clean and elegant, showing restraint and harmony.
This is a more classical expression of Margaux, less opulent but beautifully defined. It is now entering a very attractive drinking window while still holding the structure to age further. It pairs perfectly with roast lamb, beef, duck and dishes with mushrooms or truffles, where its balance and finesse can shine.
