The Michael David Rapture Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 from Lodi, California is a bold and opulent red wine crafted as one of the winery’s most powerful Cabernet expressions. Produced primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon with a portion of Petite Sirah, the wine delivers intense aromas of blackberry, plum and baked dark fruit, layered with hints of vanilla, mocha, nutmeg and cedar from oak ageing.
On the palate it is full-bodied, concentrated and richly textured, revealing flavours of dark cherry, chocolate and ripe summer berries supported by mouth-coating tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The wine’s depth and structure make it an excellent companion for grilled ribeye steak, roasted lamb, slow-cooked beef dishes or smoky barbecue, where the richness of the wine beautifully matches bold flavours.
