This is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from one of Napa Valley’s most celebrated vineyard sites. The 2017 vintage combines concentration with remarkable precision and freshness, giving it both immediate appeal and strong ageing potential.
The estate describes the 2017 vintage as an “iron fist in a velvet glove” — a useful way to understand its style: powerful at the core, but very polished and silky in texture.
A powerful yet beautifully refined Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It has blackcurrant, blackberry, Morello cherry and violet, with tobacco, tea, spice and a fine savoury touch. Deep and concentrated, but never heavy, it has very fine tannins, impressive freshness and a long, elegant finish.
Perfect with beef fillet, prime rib, lamb, game, truffle dishes, porcini mushrooms, aged cheeses and special-occasion dinners.
