The nose is intense and layered. It opens with black cherry, cassis and violet, followed by cocoa, cedar and gentle spice. On the palate, the wine is smooth and full, with velvety tannins and a deep core of ripe fruit. The texture is rich but never heavy, lifted by freshness and fine structure. The finish is long, soft and persistent, with notes of dark fruit and spice.
This is a generous yet controlled Palmer, already impressive but built to age. It pairs beautifully with beef fillet, lamb, duck and dishes with truffle or rich sauces, where its depth and elegance can fully shine.
