Calera de Villiers Vineyard Pinot Noir
De Villiers is one of Calera’s distinctive single-vineyard Pinot Noirs from Mt. Harlan, with vines planted in 1996 at around 2,200 feet. The 2020 is a particularly impressive expression, combining the richness of California fruit with the structure and elegance that define Calera’s style.
Sophisticated single-vineyard California Pinot Noir with generous blackberry, ripe strawberry and black cherry aromas, layered with white pepper and subtle spice. Smooth and concentrated on the palate, with velvety tannins, savoury complexity and a long, beautifully balanced finish.
