An intense, amber colour marked by golden nuances. The nose presents a very nice aromatic balance which blends aromas of vanilla, fresh candied fruit, milk caramel and cream cake (Basque cake). The second nose reveals heavier aromas of liquorice, grilled coffee and undergrowth.

On the palate, the balance is remarkable even if the rum is warmer on the finish.

We find these pastry aromas on the finish, white pepper and this quality of ageing linked to hot and humid conditions.
