Gerard Bertrand Héritage An 1618 Picpoul de Pinet AOC

    Languedoc-Roussillon, France
    Picpoul de Pinet

Already recognized before the reign of Louis XIV, it was in 1618 that the botanist Magnol, in his book Sylve Plantarium, listed Picpoul as one of Languedoc's most famous grape varieties. This limestone terroir bordering the Mediterranean Sea produces a fresh, dry white wine.

A fresh and dry white wine from Picpoul de Pinet, close to the Mediterranean Sea. Pale yellow with green reflections, it opens with citrus, hawthorn and bright lemony flavours. Crisp, mineral and lively, it finishes with a refreshing lift that makes it perfect with oysters, shellfish, grilled fish and seafood dishes.
