Alter Ego de Palmer AOC Margaux 2019
Alter Ego is made from the same exceptional Margaux terroir as Château Palmer, but with its own identity: rounder, softer, and more immediately expressive. The 2019 blend is Merlot-led, giving extra silkiness and ripe fruit, while Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot add structure and spice.
A refined and expressive Margaux with raspberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant, violet, cedar, and fine tobacco notes. The palate is silky and generous, with polished tannins, freshness, and a long, elegant finish. Rich but graceful, it offers the charm of Margaux in a style that is already approachable yet still serious enough for collectors.
Perfect with beef fillet, roast lamb, duck, game, truffle dishes, mushroom recipes, rich sauces and mature cheeses.
