Chateau Pavie Les Aromes de Pavie 2018 AOC Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
Wine Advocate 92-94 / 100
The 2018 Arômes de Pavie is made up of 65% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon. Very deep purple-black, it is a little shy to begin, opening out to give scents of baked black and red cherries, mulberries and blackberry tart with suggestions of liquorice, mocha, tilled soil, smoked meats and lilacs with a touch of oolong tea. Full-bodied, the palate is jam-packed with ripe, rich black fruit, framed by firm, rounded tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and savoury.
