Often called the “Barolo of the South,” Taurasi is one of Southern Italy’s great age-worthy red wines. Opera Mia is a mature vintage, offering the chance to experience Aglianico after years of development rather than in its youthful, more powerful stage.
A mature and powerful Taurasi with impressive depth and complexity. Ripe cherry and dark berry fruit meet notes of mint, leather, liquorice, cocoa and warm spice, while the palate is full-bodied, structured and persistent. After more than a decade of evolution, the 2014 offers the serious, distinctive character for which Aglianico from Taurasi is renowned.
