Fèlsina Fontalloro 2022 is one of Tuscany’s great pure Sangiovese wines. The grapes come from vineyards on both sides of the Chianti Classico border, giving the wine extra depth, freshness, and complexity. Aged in French oak barrels, it combines power with elegance in a classic Super Tuscan style.
The nose shows black cherry, wild berries, tobacco, dried herbs, violet, and light spice aromas. The palate is rich yet balanced, with smooth tannins, fresh acidity, and a long savoury finish. Notes of plum, licorice, cedar, and earthy mineral tones add depth without heaviness. Elegant and intense, it pairs beautifully with grilled steak, wild boar ragù, roast lamb, truffle dishes, or aged Pecorino cheese.
