Bastille 1789 Blended Whiskey Fabrice Landreau Edition

BASTILLE 1789 Blend is a blend of double-distilled whiskies, aged in small batches in barrels containing prestigious eaux-de-vie and appellation wines (Cognac, Sauternes) to give it a unique and complex character.

TASTING NOTES

Superb limpid bright gold colour, golden yellow honey blond reflections.

Pleasant bouquet of aromas of orange marmalade, dried apricots and gingerbread which give it softness and roundness. The finesse of the malt is present but without dominating.

Fresh attack, a comfortable mid-palate with a lot of delicacy. Dry, slightly fruity, with some notes of orange zest and candied fruit. The finish is straight, intense and without heaviness, mineral with light notes of spices.

TASTING ADVICE

As an aperitif pure or on ice, in a cocktail, as a food pairing, with a cigar.
