Bastille 1789 Single Malt Whiskey

BASTILLE 1789 Single Malt is made from 100% malted barley. It received a double distillation in a Charentais still and was aged in three second-life barrels (Sauternes, Burgundy wine, Sherry) to ensure the best ageing. The barrels have been carefully blended to create a delicate, flavorful and unique Whisky.

Magnificent clear and amber colour.

Sublime and with very good aromatic intensity. Subtle notes of exotic fruits, candied citrus fruits, sweet spices, chocolate, undergrowth and a slight touch of leather. The evolution of the bouquet is long and very refined. A seductive persistence.

Fine, voluminous starter with a beautiful signature of sweet spices combined with more fruity and woody notes. A superb balance combining richness and deliciousness of the aromatic palette described on the nose. The finish is straight, slightly peaty, voluptuous and persistent.
