Château Angélus 2000 AOC Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
BALANCE
The Merlots, dazzling with fruit, smoothness, and balance, were blended with slightly overripe Cabernet Francs. The wines have a dark purple colour and offer aromas of blackberry, plum, and blackcurrant with delicate notes of smoke and liquorice. The palate is full-bodied, phenomenally concentrated, with a magnificent tannic structure; the balance between richness and acidity brings great freshness. Wines with very good ageing potential.
Harvest: September 14 to September 27
Blend: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc
