Rich, structured and deeply expressive, Lantides Winery Abyss Assyrtiko is a premium Greek white wine that shows a more powerful and complex side of Assyrtiko. Grown at high altitude in the Peloponnese and aged in oak barrels, it combines freshness with depth and texture.
The nose is intense and layered. It opens with citrus, ripe peach and apricot, followed by notes of vanilla, sweet spice and a touch of toasted oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and textured, with vibrant acidity that keeps it fresh and balanced. The finish is long and persistent, with a clear mineral and slightly saline character.
This is a gastronomic white wine with real presence. It pairs beautifully with grilled fish, seafood, creamy dishes, roasted poultry and even lamb.
