Joseph Cattin Riesling Pur de Roche Alsace AOC 2016
The Joseph Cattin Riesling “Pur de Roche” 2016 is a dry and mineral-driven white wine from Alsace, produced from 100% Riesling grown on limestone and marl soils near the village of Voegtlinshoffen.
The wine shows aromas of citrus, green apple, and subtle stone notes with hints of chalk and flint. On the palate it is dry, precise and elegant, revealing lemon, melon and mineral flavours supported by lively acidity and a long, refined finish. Its freshness and structure pair beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, sushi or fresh oysters.
