Description
The Kosta Browne Pinot Noir 2023 from Sonoma Coast, California is a refined and expressive red wine crafted by one of the most celebrated producers of California Pinot Noir. The Sonoma Coast, strongly influenced by the cold Pacific Ocean, provides ideal conditions for Pinot Noir to ripen slowly while preserving vibrant acidity and aromatic complexity.
The wine opens with lifted aromas of wild blueberry, crushed red plum and delicate floral notes, complemented by hints of cedar and a touch of eucalyptus. On the palate it reveals layers of black currant and raspberry with subtle accents of black tea and cinnamon, framed by silky tannins and a graceful structure. The vibrant fruit and elegant texture make this Pinot Noir particularly enjoyable with roasted duck, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto or herb-roasted chicken, where the freshness of the wine beautifully complements savoury dishes. Aged for around 16 months in French oak, the wine develops depth and finesse while preserving the purity of Sonoma Coast fruit.
