Darroze Bas-Armagnac 1981 – 3L

892.00

Grape varieties: 67% ugni blanc, 33% colombard

Description: The terroirs of the village of Courrenssan offer both sandy soils (it is the last village on the edge of Bas Armagnac) and limestone from the nearby Ténarèze. The boulbènes of the property are similar to the tawny sands of Bas Armagnac and allow the production of rich, complex Armagnac with long ageing.

Nice golden colour with red tints.
The nose is very seductive thanks to the aromas like candied fruits, chocolate, brown tobacco and liquorice.
The palate is rich, also very complex in aromas: orange peel, prune, cinnamon, and pepper.
The tannins are very delicate.
Very long finish.
