Description
Expert tasting note: Medium to deep intensity of ruby-red with purple hints at the rim. The aromas combine toasty oak with plentiful cassis fruit & delicate leafy hints. Lovely, lively blackcurrant fruit on the palate is lifted by good acidity. The wine has a core of black fruit (damson & cassis), graphite & liquorice. Fine velvety tannins on the mid-palate give grip but are not astringent. Balanced alcohol & lively acidity ensure the leafy/blackcurrant fruit on the finish lasts well. The finish is mouthwatering.
