The color of this wine is a very dark red, almost black. From the first nose, one perceives a basket of fresh fruits (raspberry, cherry, strawberry), then with agitation, a greater complexity emerges with spices, dried herbs, fennel, and a slight floral note. The palate is straightforward and well-balanced, with good concentration and a lovely volume. Despite a high amount of tannins, it remains smooth and creamy: a beautiful balance between substance, density, and freshness. The texture is delicate and precise. The finish is very long and complex, highlighting fresh red fruits, licorice, cinnamon, and more terroir-driven notes of smoke and flint.
