Description
A mature red Bordeaux from the prestigious Pomerol appellation, made mainly from Merlot with Cabernet Franc. It shows developed aromas of plum, red cherry, blackberry, truffle, tobacco, cedar and gentle earthy notes. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, with silky tannins, mature fruit and a savoury finish.
Excellent with roast beef, lamb, duck, mushroom dishes, truffle-based recipes and aged cheeses.
