Description
Dark ruby with slightly purplish reflections.
The nose is intense and fine. In its early youth, the nose is fresh with red fruits, notes of black fruits and liquorice. After four to five years of ageing, cherry brandy, strawberry jam, truffle and roasted notes are dominant on the first nose then it evolves into liquorice, undergrowth, black olive and spices.
On the palate in its youth, the wine is fresh, concentrated and supple with hints of black cherries and garrigue. As it ages, the palate becomes very ample with a very long finish and is supported by aromas of black cherry jam, truffles, liquorice and underbrush.
