Best Sommeliers Series Château Laguiole Giuseppe Vaccarini

This Château Laguiole was created in honor of Giuseppe Vaccarini, former 1978 sommelier world champion and president of their international union the ASI (Association de la Sommellerie Internationale).

The Best Sommeliers Series was created by Master Sommeliers Guy Vialis to celebrates the world’s best sommeliers. Each authorized piece was designed with the Sommelier’s input and, as a result, reflects his preferences.

Since debuting in 1993 Château Laguiole has been the favorite corkscrew of many of the world’s best sommeliers. To this day it remains the most popular high-end waiter-style corkscrews in the business. All genuine Château Laguiole like this one are Made in France.

Handle Material: Lemonwood, aka “Degame”. (Calycophyllum candidissimum). This tree only grows in the Indian Ocean area (Sri-Lanka.) and is often used for fishing rods and archery bows.
