Description
In this airy terroir, the wind blows and naturally dries the berries, while the air infiltrates deep into the soil. The sandy lightness of the Schlossberg gives the Rieslings a crystalline precision, which we preserve by harvesting our grapes on terraced plots between 230 and 400 meters above sea level.
Coming from five separate plots, including Tiefenthal and Kirrenbourg, and exclusively from old vines, this vintage reveals an intense and complex mineral expression, blending ripe fruit, herbs, and flowers against a backdrop of weathered granite. Its crystalline elegance is striking on the palate: full and rich yet airy, it offers a saline finish of infinite precision, enhanced by fine tannins and a subtle bitterness.
