Intense ruby red in colour, the nose offers a wide, complex spectrum of aromas; dark fruit, prune conserve, cherry jam, and tobacco underpinned by subtle spices, including pepper. A full-bodied palate, packed full of soft yet rich fruit, underlined by fine tannins, notes of cocoa, coffee, and subtle flavours of vanilla on the long finish.
Aged in fine French and American oak barrels for 18 months
