Philippe Colin Les Chaumées Clos Saint-Abdon 2023 is a refined white Burgundy from the Premier Cru vineyards of Chassagne-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune. Made from Chardonnay grown on limestone-rich soils, the wine combines richness, freshness, and precise mineral character. Careful oak ageing adds texture and depth while keeping the wine elegant and focused.
The nose opens with aromas of ripe citrus, white peach, pear, toasted almond, brioche, and white flowers. The palate is smooth and layered, with bright acidity, fine minerality, and a long saline finish. Notes of lemon cream, hazelnut, and light vanilla give extra complexity without heaviness. Rich yet beautifully balanced, it pairs perfectly with lobster, scallops, turbot, roast chicken, or creamy mushroom dishes.
