  • Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve

Cigar and whiskey lovers can rejoice: The Dalmore presents its Cigar Malt Reserve!

A rebirth, since the production of this cuvée, had been interrupted in 2009. But the demand was too pressing and the brand, therefore, decided to relaunch production.

This time, it is a triple maturation that allowed to develop of this cuvée: in ex-sherry barrels (70%), in ex-Cabernet Sauvignon wine barrels (10%) and in ex-white oak barrels American (20%).

Its aromatic profile is therefore slightly different. But it will undoubtedly seduce cigar lovers, just as it seduced the most demanding juries at major international competitions, such as the San Francisco World Spirits Competition where it won a bronze medal.

It is presented in an elegant bottle, adorned with the famous emblematic deer head of the brand!

A cuvée whose return we enthusiastically welcome!

  • Glenmorangie Pride 1974

The oldest whisky released by Glenmorangie to date – Glenmorangie Pride 1974 is a 48-year-old single malt from the esteemed Highland distillery, drawn from a combination of bourbon casks and Oloroso Sherry casks. Another beautiful release from the Pride series presented once again in a distinctive round decanter and inventive presentation box. 503 bottles were produced.

    Tasting Note by The Producer

Nose: Wonderful, deep, rich, salty and spicy flavours. Salted caramel toffee, chocolate truffles. Turkish delight, rum and rains flavoured ice cream, and a hint of aged balsamic vinegar. 3 or 4 drops of water release myriad complex vapours, reminiscent of warm brioche, year floor, ginger snap biscuits and subtle, gentle blood orange, finally giving way to more hints of brioche, baked bread and cedar wood.

Palate: For a whisky of such age, the mouthfeel is soft, leading to surprisingly vibrant flavours of baked apples, oranges, honey and menthol. Lots of toffee, molasses, double cream and spicy clove and aniseed.

Finish: The aftertaste is lingering but gently soothing, with pecan nuts, leather, fudge and creamy caffè latte.
