Since 2002, the Maison du Vigneron has owned the Domaine de Savagny, made up of 45 hectares of vines located in the Côtes du Jura appellation and Chateau Chalon, nestling between Chateau-Chalon, the historic heart of the Jura vineyards and Baume Les Messieurs, a major cultural center in the region. The plots of vines, planted with the 5 Jurassian grape varieties, Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir, are grouped together in the commune of Lavigny, on a clayey limestone and marly soil on the lower slopes. Regularly, the wines and Crémants of the Domaine de Savagny are awarded medals at the most prestigious competitions such as the Concours Général Agricole de Paris, Concours de la Percée des Vins Jaunes, Concours des Crémants de France, Guide Hachette, Concours des Vins du Jura … A beautiful prize list that reflects the work accomplished by a team of dedicated professionals who love their unique terroir!
