It all started in 1936, in Cerqueux, a small town in Maine et Loire. Louise and Gabriel Pasquier, the village bakers, make bread, pastries, and a brioche famous in the region in their bakery. On the death of Gabriel Pasquier, at the beginning of the ’70s, his 5 sons took over the family business and decided to offer their brioches, protected by a sachet, in supermarkets. The idea was revolutionary for the time and met with real success.
