Originally from a village in the center of France, in Corrèze, it was in 1898 that F. JANOUEIX set up his own business in Margaux, in the Medoc.

Nowadays, Maison François JANOUEIX remains a family business, is located in Libourne, on the banks of the Dordogne River, in the heart of the vineyards of Bordeaux.

The team has about 40 people. The company provides some 50,000 private and professional customers. His wines are present on the charts of the best Parisian and European restaurants.

The Janoueix Company is proud to owe several of the finest Châteaux in the Libourne area (near Bordeaux), including 7 in Saint-Émilion, 4 in Pomerol and 2 in Côte de Castillon. This family business was created in 1898 by Joseph Janoueix, a bright hard-working businessman and wine lover from Correze, South of France. Famous for its top-quality vineyards and for its efficient wine trade, JJ produces prestigious wines that are served in the very best places, including the National Elysée Palace (the official residence of the French President).
